C. Search Activation Information
When a client uses the CareerUSA “Start a Search” process, CareerUSA may collect information such as:
- company details and hiring-manager information
- position details and candidate requirements
- compensation information and interview-process information
- target companies, companies that should not be approached, and known or internal candidates
- uploaded documents
- confirmation of authority to initiate the search
- acceptance of CareerUSA Recruiting Services Terms, and the date and time of acceptance
- search or assignment reference information
D. Payment Information
CareerUSA uses Stripe to process payments. Payment information may include payer name, business name, email address, billing address, payment amount, transaction status, payment reference, payment date, and relevant tax or billing information.
Payment-card details are processed by Stripe. CareerUSA does not store full card numbers.
E. Website and Technical Information
When individuals use CareerUSA.net, certain information may be collected automatically, including where applicable:
- IP address, browser type, device type, and operating system
- pages viewed and referring website
- approximate geographic location
- date and time of access
- website interaction information

A. Employer Clients
Candidate information may be shared with relevant employer clients or prospective employers in connection with recruitment opportunities.
B. Candidates
Information about a role, employer, or recruitment opportunity may be shared with prospective candidates where appropriate to the search.
C. Service Providers
CareerUSA may use service providers that support functions such as website hosting, online forms, recruitment operations, communications, document storage, payment processing, accounting, cybersecurity, and business administration. These providers may process information on CareerUSA’s behalf as necessary to provide their services.
D. Payment Processors
Payments may be processed by Stripe. Stripe processes payment information under its own privacy and security practices. CareerUSA may receive transaction-related information from Stripe without receiving or storing complete payment-card details.
E. Legal and Compliance Disclosures
CareerUSA may disclose information where reasonably necessary to:

14. Recruitment Decisions
CareerUSA assists clients in identifying and evaluating candidates. Ultimate employment and hiring decisions are generally made by the applicable employer.
CareerUSA may use professional judgment, recruitment criteria, screening processes, search tools, and technology to support recruitment activities.
15. Sensitive Personal Information
Candidates and clients should avoid providing unnecessary sensitive information through CareerUSA forms or email.
Where sensitive personal information is legitimately required for recruitment, legal, accommodation, work-authorization, or compliance purposes, CareerUSA processes it only as reasonably necessary and in accordance with applicable law.
Please do not submit Social Security numbers, bank account numbers, complete payment-card numbers, medical records, or passwords through ordinary recruitment forms unless a secure and legitimate process specifically requires such information.
16. Children
CareerUSA’s services are intended for employment candidates, employers, and business users. CareerUSA does not intentionally design its recruitment services for children under the age required to participate legally in the applicable employment or service context.
If CareerUSA becomes aware that personal information concerning a child has been collected improperly, it may take appropriate steps to remove or address the information.
17. Third-Party Links
CareerUSA.net may contain links to websites or services operated by third parties. CareerUSA is not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party websites.

18. Stripe and Payment Processing
CareerUSA uses Stripe to facilitate certain online payments. Where a client pays a CareerUSA Search Activation Fee or another eligible charge through Stripe:
- payment information is submitted to Stripe
- Stripe processes the transaction
- CareerUSA receives relevant transaction and payment-status information
- CareerUSA does not need to receive the client’s full payment-card number for ordinary Stripe-hosted checkout transactions
19. Search Activation and Electronic Agreement Records
When a client activates a recruitment search electronically, CareerUSA may retain information documenting the transaction and acceptance of applicable terms, which may include:
- company name and client representative name
- email address
- position/search title and search reference
- confirmation of authority and confirmation of acceptance
- date and time of acceptance
- version of the applicable Recruiting Services Terms
- payment reference and payment status
This information may be retained for contract administration, recordkeeping, dispute resolution, compliance, and related legitimate business purposes.
20. Changes to This Privacy Policy
CareerUSA may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When the policy is materially updated, CareerUSA will update the effective date and version displayed at the top of this page.
